Books for Americans in Germany

Ten years ago people paid per minute for internet access.  There have been Americans in Europe a lot longer than that.  They used to use books to help them get around.

Panther Paws uses Bitburg (about an hour and a half NW) as it's home base but covers all of Europe.  Entries include lodging, restaurants, services, and sightseeing.

Never a Dull Moment has sections on each German state with a bit of information on other countries.  It is heavy on lodging, restaurants, and shopping but also includes some sites.

Both are available at the KMCC bookstore.
